Here is Mark Faris, CEO & Broker, and Dr. Anna Falkowski from Vitality Healing, giving you some great insight into how fear and worry can affect our health during today’s climate.

Q: How do fear and worry play a factor in our health in today’s climate?

A: Mental health is such a concern for people. The more we are worrying about our health and stress, the less resilient we become resulting in our bodies being less capable to fight infections entirely. It is essential right now to address the stress, fear, and anxieties you’re facing right now. Unplug from the negative news that’s out there today. Get your primary headlines in the morning and then turn off the news for the day. Focus on things that make you happy and know that make you feel good inside.

Start with a good sleep routine; if you’re not sleeping well – you will be more stressed and irritable, becoming less resilient throughout the day. Pick a regular bedtime and wake up in the morning, even if you have nowhere to go, to start that new routine for yourself. Do you exercise in the morning when your energy is the highest? Whether it be working out from home or going on power-walks, it is imperative and helps our bodies relieve stress.
